Treasurer
The treasurer collects the club dues on a semi-annual basis and oversees the club’s budget. The treasurer is the sixth-ranking officer on the executive team. In general, the treasurer does the following:

Collect dues and submits quarterly reports
Every six months, the treasurer is responsible for collecting and submitting the club dues to Toastmasters International. Once per quarter, the treasurer submits a written report of the club’s finances.

Prepare budget
The treasurer prepares and presents the club’s financial budget at the beginning of the Toastmasters year. This budget must be approved by the executive committee and membership within the first month of the Toastmaster year (starting July).

Pay club rent and record transactions
The treasurer is responsible for paying and keeping record of the club’s financial transactions. This includes paying the club’s rent in the timely manner. When a guest decides to join as a member, the Treasurer submits the application and payment to Toastmasters international.
