Michelle as opener told us a joke about three nurses facing St. Peter.

Jenee told us about Arthritis myths.  She provided information about the three most common types of arthritis. Arthritis pain is caused by ongoing inflammation.  The disease can cause problems throughout her entire body, not just the joints. Recommends book, “You Don’t Look Sick.”

Denise told us about her experiences with her older brother. She shared a bit of her childhood and that relationship.  She revealed traumatic experiences within her family and how she struggled with them.

Julie presented a speech from the technical presentational manual presenting a new company Wellness Program. She explained the benefits of the Wellness plan on the health of the employees and the financial benefits to the company with a Wellness plan.

• Club won new banner for increasing our base by 5, also won a ribbon for achieving both 4 new member points.  Won drawing of $100 Toastmaster gift certificates.

• Elections  on May 16^th.  Have people interested in all the offices.  Need people here next week so we have quorum for an election.

Mark did an excellent job as a first time Toastmaster leading us through a fun and entertaining meeting.

Chris as opener spoke about graduation.  There are all kinds of graduation from Kindergarden to dog training.  But the graduate is more than that, they are a symbol of hope.  When you see a graduate you automatically see a brighter future.  She encouraged us not to give up on our dreams.

Emiko was a guest speaker  and spoke about the importance of looking people in the eye.  With our eyes we can expres how we truely feel.

Roma told us her experiences with remote viewing.

Scott had us all laughing at his discussion about cultural differences.  When in Peru be aware that chicken sandwiches have the bone in them!

Fellow Notables, it is my pleasure to once again speak to you from my little President’s Corner. This has been a very interesting year as your president. This is the first Toastmaster’s office that I have held; I have to say it has been a tremendously fulfilling opportunity to take advantage of a leadership role. I have been blessed by supportive and hardworking club officers, had opportunities to represent our club at District conferences, and I have had a great glimpse at the great Toastmasters world outside of our club. Ours is a strong organization supported in a way of helping ourselves by way of helping others. The ability to step in and assist in contests and membership drives has been a real boon by way of getting to know a broader and broader range of other people dedicated to the same goal of improving their skills and leaving their marks.

If I were to offer any encouragement this time around, it would be leap on to those opportunities that are offered to step into the larger Toastmasters world. Challenge yourself to be a guest speaker. Visit some of the options presented like the” Leadership Boot Camps” and “Evaluation Seminars”. Help with contests, even if it’s just minding the door. And by doing so, you give a little bit back, and receive even more!
