How to join

Once you’ve you decided that Notable Northgaters the perfect club for you, there are just a few steps to become a member:

  1. Complete application – The VP Membership can provide you with a Membership Application.
  2. Submit application & payment – Any club officer will accept your application and payment (write checks to Notable Northgaters). You’ll receive your first manuals at this time.

  3. Be voted in – The club will vote you in as a member of their club.

Now you’re a member!

A few things to expect after you’ve joined:

  1. Receive a mentor – The VP of Mentoring will work with you to identify a member of the club to serve as your mentor–someone who can answer your questions and help you through your first speeches.
  2. Email list sign-up – The club’s VP Education will add you to the club’s mailing list and send you details of how to use it.
  3. Site log-in credentials – The club’s VP Education will provide you with the credentials to log-in to the member section of the NN website.
  4. Begin filling roles – The VP of Education will begin assigning you to fill various roles within the club. You’ll need to be sure to check the schedule. Don’t worry! You’ll automatically be scheduled for smaller roles before the larger ones.
